Selfies could replace passwords and pin codes in the future

Those damn selfies could be more commonplace in time to come if MasterCard have their way.

The Credit Card company are going to randomly select 500 customers in America of theirs to take a selfie on their smartphone when making transactions.

They will be asked to blink once and then you’re done.

The picture will be then converted into a code of 0’s and 1’s which will verify your identity.

They have partnered with all of the major mobile networks and will also partner with banks.

Innovative anyway.
